Uba Sani Hosts Kaduna CAN Leaders to Iftar/Lenten Dinner, Reaffirms Commitment to Peace

Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, on Wednesday hosted Christian clerics and members of the Kaduna State chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) to a special Iftar and Lenten dinner at Sir Kashim Ibrahim House.

The CAN delegation was led by the state chairman, Rev. Caleb Ma’aji, alongside other Christian leaders and dignitaries.

During the gathering, the clerics commended the governor’s administration for promoting unity among the people of Kaduna State, maintaining a peaceful and stable environment, and ensuring even development across the state. They also praised the government’s inclusive governance approach.
The Christian leaders particularly applauded the Kaduna Peace Model, describing it as a practical example of responsive and accountable leadership that has strengthened harmony and reinforced a sense of belonging among citizens regardless of faith or ethnicity.


Governor Uba Sani expressed appreciation to the Christian leaders for honouring the invitation and for offering prayers for the continued peace and progress of the state. He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to sustaining peace and security while implementing programmes aimed at improving the welfare and quality of life of residents.
