Jarumar Jema’a and Jakadiyan Ham, Barrister Deborah Usman, have expressed sympathy to the Jema’a Emirate following the recent fire incident that affected part of the Emir’s palace in Kafanchan.

Deborah Usman made the remarks during a Ramadan breaking of fast (iftar) ceremony held at the palace, which she attended alongside other invited guests.

She described the Emir of Jema’a as a resilient and courageous leader who has shown remarkable strength in the face of adversity, noting that he has put the pains of the incident behind him in order to continue serving his people.

According to her, the decision of the Emir to still host the iftar despite the fire incident reflects his commitment to unity, peace and leadership within the emirate.
She prayed for quick restoration of the affected section of the palace and urged the people of Jema’a Emirate to remain supportive and united around their traditional institution.
