The Member representing Jema’a/Sanga Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Daniel Amos, has formally declared his intention to seek re-election in the 2027 general elections.

Amos made the declaration on Tuesday during separate engagements in Kafanchan and Gwantu, citing sustained calls from constituents and a desire to consolidate on achievements recorded during his first term.

He said the decision to seek a second term was driven not only by personal conviction but also by consistent encouragement from across the constituency, including community leaders, youths, and women groups.

According to the lawmaker, the support from constituents represents a “solemn responsibility” to deepen representation, expand opportunities, and ensure inclusive development across Jema’a and Sanga local government areas.

“This declaration is both a response to the trust reposed in me and a resolve to do even more for our people,” Amos said, adding that his focus remains on building on existing gains while addressing pressing needs within the constituency.

He noted that his experience in office has underscored the importance of responsive and evolving representation, capable of meeting emerging challenges while staying aligned with the aspirations of the people.

Amos further pledged to approach a second term with “greater intensity, inclusiveness, and impact,” emphasizing the need for continuity in ongoing development efforts.

The lawmaker expressed optimism about the future, stating that the foundation laid so far would serve as a springboard for expanded progress if given another mandate in 2027.
