The Chairman of the Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service (KADIRS) and APC Deputy Governorship candidate, Comrade Jerry Adams, has expressed gratitude to the people of Southern Kaduna for the overwhelming reception they accorded him during his homecoming visit on August 4.
In a statement, Adams said thousands of supporters turned out across Kajuru, Kachia, Zangon Kataf, Jema’a and Kaura Local Government Areas, lining major roads from Kajuru to Kafanchan to welcome his convoy despite the short notice.
He described the reception as “humbling and deeply encouraging,” noting that his convoy made several stops to acknowledge the cheering crowds.
Adams also paid homage to the Chiefs of Moro’a, Takad and Kagoro, where he received royal blessings, and appreciated the interfaith prayers offered by the CAN and JNI leadership in Kaura Local Government Area.
He thanked political leaders, traditional rulers, local government chairmen, members of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, labour leaders and KADIRS management who joined the homecoming, while expressing special appreciation to Governor Uba Sani for his confidence and support.
Adams reaffirmed his loyalty to the governor and thanked the people of Southern Kaduna for their prayers and support ahead of the official commencement of political campaigns in September.
