Iliya Wilson has resigned his membership of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) with immediate effect.
Yangye announced his resignation in a letter dated September 22, 2026, addressed to the Chairman of the ADC in Barde Ward, Jema’a Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

In the letter titled “Resignation from the African Democratic Congress (ADC),” Yangye said his decision followed careful consideration of his political direction.
“I hereby formally resign my membership of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) with immediate effect,” he stated.
He expressed appreciation for the opportunity to serve the party and wished the ADC well in its future endeavours.
Yangye, however, did not disclose the political party or platform he intends to join, saying he would communicate his next political action “in due course.”
The resignation comes as political activities intensify ahead of the 2027 general elections.
