The member representing Sanga State Constituency in the Kaduna State House of Assembly and Chairman of the House Committee on Finance, Hon. Haliru G. Dangana, has donated cash to All Progressives Congress (APC) officials across the 11 wards of Sanga Local Government Area to cushion their economic challenges.

Dangana announced the donation during a meeting with unit chairmen, unit chairwomen and youths from the 11 wards of the local government, where he also expressed confidence in the APC’s chances ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The lawmaker declared that the APC was well-positioned to secure victory in the presidential, senatorial, and House of Representatives elections, as well as retain the Sanga State Constituency seat.

“The 2027 election in Southern Kaduna for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Senator Sunday Marshall Katung, Representative Daniel Amos and myself is a done deal,” Dangana declared.

He attributed his confidence to what he described as the democratic gains recorded under the APC-led administrations at the federal and Kaduna State levels, arguing that the party’s performance had strengthened its appeal among the people of Southern Kaduna.

According to him, the achievements of the APC governments have continued to attract support and consolidate the party’s political standing across the region.

Dangana also challenged opposition parties to reconsider their political strategies ahead of the 2027 elections, insisting that the APC was prepared to win the available seats across Southern Kaduna.

“The opposition parties should not waste their time and resources on an election that the APC is poised to win across the board,” he said.

The meeting brought together grassroots party officials and youths from the 11 wards of Sanga Local Government Area, providing an opportunity for engagement on party mobilisation and preparations for the forthcoming elections.

The cash donation, according to the account of the meeting, was intended to provide some relief to party officials and recognise their contributions to grassroots political activities.
Dangana’s remarks underscore the APC’s early mobilisation efforts in Sanga and the wider Southern Kaduna political landscape ahead of the 2027 general elections.
