The Member representing Jema’a/Sanga Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Daniel Amos, has donated seven combat motorcycles to security agencies operating in Sanga Local Government Area of Kaduna State to strengthen their operations against insecurity.

Amos donated five motorcycles to Sub-Sector 71 of the Joint Task Force, Operation Enduring Peace (JTF OPEP), and two to Operation Fulaku during a peace and security summit organised by Sub-Sector 71 JTF OPEP at the Sanga Local Government Secretariat on Saturday, October 17, 2026.
The summit, organised by Lt. Col. M. Galadima, had the theme, “Bridging the Divide: Uniting Farmers, Herders and Youth for a Prosperous Community.” It also featured the presentation of awards to prominent individuals who have contributed to the fight against insecurity in Sanga and its environs.
Speaking at the event, Lt. Col. Galadima called for constructive dialogue among communities, stressing the importance of collaboration in addressing security challenges. He warned that threats to peace would be dealt with and urged residents to share credible information with security agencies to support their operations.
The special guest, Major General W. M. Dangana, emphasised that security was the responsibility of everyone, noting that peace and stability were essential for development.
In his goodwill message, Hon. Daniel Amos commended Lt. Col. Galadima for the improved security situation in Sanga Local Government Area, describing the development as evidence that peaceful coexistence was achievable.

Recalling his childhood experiences, Amos said people in his hometown once lived harmoniously with their Fulani neighbours, expressing concern over the breakdown of the cordial relationships that previously existed among the communities.
“Where has that harmonious coexistence gone?” he asked.
He reiterated that peaceful coexistence was possible and cautioned against generalising the actions of individuals, stressing that not every Fulani person was bad.
The lawmaker’s remarks underscored the need to rebuild trust, encourage dialogue and promote understanding between farmers and herders as part of broader efforts to restore lasting peace in Sanga Local Government Area.
The summit brought together security personnel, community leaders and other stakeholders to discuss practical measures for addressing insecurity and strengthening peaceful coexistence across the area.
