The Principal Partner of Gatekeepers Consult and Walin Moro’a, Samuel Atung, SAN, has commended Governor Uba Sani for the completion and commissioning of the 23-kilometre road linking Madauchi to Kafanchan via Madakiya.

Atung described the road as strategic to the development of Southern Kaduna, noting that it connects several communities in Bajju Chiefdom and provides a vital alternative route to the Zonkwa–Samaru–Kagoro axis.

According to him, the road has also boosted local commerce by significantly reducing travel time between Kafanchan and Zonkwa by nearly half.

He made the remarks in an exclusive interview with Gurara Accord shortly after the investiture and installation of Elder (Dr.) Daniel Gaggah and Elder Kefas Bature Yusiya as National Patron and State Secretary-Organizer respectively. The ceremony, where Atung served as Chairman of the Occasion, was held on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at ECWA Gospel Church, Majelisa Street, Television, Kaduna.

While appreciating the governor for what he described as groundbreaking projects, Atung appealed to him to consider the rehabilitation of the Kafanchan–Kwoi road due to its strategic importance to the region.

Also speaking at the event, the President of the Kaduna State Council of The Boys’ Brigade, Nigeria, Dr. Abraham H. Gaga, praised Governor Uba Sani for his empathy towards the people of the state.

“The governorship of Kaduna is the first of its kind in the state. We are not taking it for granted. We appreciate him,” Gaga said.
